This past weekend marked 100 years since World War I ended. The Great War was fought between 1914 and 1918, with peace being declared on November 11, 1918.
The problem is, with so much time having passed since World War I, a lot of us are ignorant about it. Certainly more so than World War II, which is somewhat easier to understand.
This video seeks to redress the balance, with 101 facts about World War I. It covers how it started, how many countries got involved, and how many people died.
We should never forget the people who fought and died in World War I. But we should also do everything in our power to stop similar conflicts happening again.
