Roland Emmerich’s new film 2012 is already scoring some pretty serious internet hype thanks to its stellar cast and liberal use of special effects.
Okay, it’s mostly about the special effects.
As this parody trailer shows, there are an awful lot of them. Amanda Peet and Thandie Newton might be pretty, but most men are going to be more interested in the plane disasters and tsunamis.
This looks like the kind of film that’s budget is so focused on CGI, they forgot to hire a screen writer. But if this parody trailer is any indication, I don’t think that’s going to worry too many movie goers!
