Japanese culture is unique, and foreigners often struggle to either understand it or ensconce themselves in it. Which is what makes this video so compelling to watch.

It shows Japanese people just being themselves; eating sushi, chatting to friends, and playing with their phones. And it’s all thanks to a carefully positioned GoPro.

Some guy basically put his camera on the conveyor belt at a sushi restaurant. Some people notice and wave, but others are totally oblivious.

It’s hard to take your eyes off of this video, and it’s even worth sitting through the part where it’s pointed at a wall before the staff hand it back to its owner.
