When Leo Gao of New Zealand applied for a $10, 000 loan, he could never have foreseen what was to come next. A bank error saw a few more zeros added to the sum. With $10 million in his bank account, Leo faced a moral dilemma.
What would you do?
Those of you sitting on your high horse may insist you’d alert the bank to the mistake, but I’m not convinced. It might be the wrong thing, but I can’t say I blame Mr Gao and his girlfriend for skipping the country!

The banks gouge our money all the time through fees and charges. Isn’t it about time that someone had a win?
