If you’ve ever watched a movie, chances are you’ve heard of Charlton Heston. And if you’ve flipped on the TV today, you’ve likely heard of his recent passing.
In this short tribute, CNN takes a look at Heston’s long 84 years of life.
Heston starred in over a hundred movies his half-century acting career, winning an Oscar and an Academy Award. No doubt, The 10 Commandments and Planet of The Apes were highlights of his career, but he will always be most remembered for being the chariot racer Ben Hur.
As many of you already know, Heston moved onto more conservative politics towards the end of his life including opposing gun control and leading the NRA. Whether or not you agree with his political views, you have to admit the man lived a full life.
