Tough Mudder events are held around the world. They feature extreme obstacle courses that cover 12 miles, with the people taking part facing all manner of challenges along the way.
This video shows one person’s journey along the course, mostly viewed from a first-person perspective using a GoPro action camera.
The whole thing is augmented by a rousing soundtrack of mostly manly themes. But it should be noted that women also take part in the Tough Mudder events.
Having watched this video I know I won’t be tackling a Tough Mudder event any time soon, and probably never. This is clearly a young man’s game, and I’m no longer a young man.
