I do not understand the reaction this comment got. You are allowed to hate the country you live in, and bitch and moan about at will. It doesn’t make you a bad person.

This is nationalism, pure and simple. And it’s shown up as being even more bizarre when it’s patently obvious Levine made the remark in a jokey, off the cuff manner. He wasn’t speaking literally.
