Politicians just can’t express their opinions these days. Even behind closed doors, there’s always a chance that it might end up in some book. Such is the case with the new book “Game Change” written by a couple of Time Magazine and new York Magazine journalists.
The book includes some would-be-private quotes from Harry Reid, Bill Clinton, and others talking about the 2008 presidential election.
Like Al Sharpton, I really don’t see what the big deal is. Obviously these magazine writers wanted to sell a ton of books, so they had to create a classy gossip novel. Since most of these “racist comments” are already taken out of context in the book, I find it hard to get mad due to the fact that the true meaning behind them will never be known.
Towards the end of the video Sharpton tells the Fox News host that he finds the Clinton comment more offensive, however, I’m sure that quote was made in jest. The only real way to find out is to read the book “Game Change” but I don’t feel like playing into the hands of the media today.
