Alice Cooper & Ke$ha Duet on “School’s Out” Video | When Rock Jumped the Shark

Once upon a time Alice Cooper was the man that mothers feared, with his rebellious musical anthems, wild eye make-up, and penchant for snakes and blood. And then he started to hang out with modern-day pop skanks like Ke$ha in Norway.

I’m sure stranger things have happened than this duet on “School’s Out,” but I can’t think of them offhand!

Alice is still cool, but he’s definitely lost a bit of credibility with this performance. Admittedly the song gets a lot better when he pops up around the one and a half minute mark, but it’s still really confusing.
