In all my posting about The X Factor Australia, I’ve neglected to write about one key player: Altiyan Childs.
There is everyone else in the competition, and there is Altiyan. It’s not his talent that sets him apart, but his over-the-top theatricality.
I’m still trying to work out whether Altiyan is brilliant, or completely unhinged. Perhaps it’s a combination of both. Few singers would spend the week living in a cave on a beach, only to come out and give a performance like this.
But as we said before, there are few performers out there like the irrepressible Altiyan Childs!
