It’s not exactly walking on water or parting the red sea, but this modern-day miracle is truly amazing.
Caught on film more than 10 years ago, this young girl can be seen producing tears of solid crystals.
Some would call Hasnah Mohamed here a religious phenomenon, while other’s (who are more informed) would call her a hoax. Just one year after this tape surfaced, former stage magician Joe Nickell debunked this as a fake.
The trick is actually easier than it seems. In front of a camera crew, Joe performed the exact same trick. Only, later he revealed that he had previously placed a Herkimer diamond in his eyelid. If you look again closely to the video, indeed you can see the crystal coming out of her eyelid and not behind her eye.
Apparently, the human eyelid can withstand the pain. Who knew?
