Do you ever feel as though technology is getting too smart too quickly? This 3D pen may help convince you it is.
This video is the promotional effort for the 3Doodler, currently being funded on Kickstarter. As the name suggests this is a 3D drawing tool which literally lets you create 3D drawings in the real world.
Previously you would have needed a computer and all the peripherals to create 3D drawings, which could then be made real with a 3D printer. 3Doodler simplifies the whole process.
This is made possible thanks to the pen, which heats up and then rapidly cools plastic. As you draw the plastic takes on a solid shape, leaving you with 3-dimensional sculptures made right before your very eyes.
