Here at WebTV Hub we’re amazed by the achievements of so called “disabled” people. There was the one-legged salsa star, the handicapped break dancers, and now we’ve got amputee ballet dancers.
I found this dance between a one-armed ballerina and her one-legged male lead incredibly touching. It’s almost as if they become whole through the dance, her two legs making up for his one and his two arms compensating for the one she’s lost.
This was so moving to see, and it really makes me rethink the term “disabled.” Surely anyone that can dance so beautifully is more able than most of us!
