Nature is awesome, but not always in a good way. As this video shot in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia shows very clearly.
Australia has, and currently still is, experiencing some of the worst floods in its recent history. Watching from afar it’s a horrific sight, but it must be absolutely monstrous to be in the middle of it.
This guy decided to film the flood as it built up and eventually started washing away Toowoomba in Queensland. From the second floor of his office he capture the waters building ever higher.
I’ve never experienced a flood, never having lived in an area prone to it. And this video has convinced me never to do so, even if it meant the houses prices were lower. Because the threat is too real and too scary.
I just hope the Australian floods start to ebb away so that the people affected can get back to the normal lives, if possible.
