As a cat owner I have seen my beloved pet doing some strange and wonderful things. But he, or any of the other cats I have had contact with, have ever pulled off quite such an impressive jump as this.
Cats seem able to judge distances much better than us mere humans can. They instinctively know whether they’ll be able to leap across a plunging chasm, and then do so with no regard for personal safety.
The cat in the video is so confident he can make it he doesn’t even hesitate. He reaches the end of the ladder, keeps his eye on the goal (of climbing in the window for some loving) and jumps.
This has to be a new world record. If such a thing exists for the longest cat jump ever recorded. Even if not then this cat deserves a treat.
