Downhill mountain biking is an insane sport. I can’t help but be impressed by these cyclists speeding down the side of a mountain (or tree-lined hillside) in record times.
However, as impressive as the sport is, it’s even more impressive when one of the competitors loses his chain at the start of the course. That’s game over, surely…
It turns out that no, it isn’t game over. In fact, this cyclist, American Aaron Gwin, rides the course so quickly that he ends up winning it. With no chain!
This is an incredible feat, and the focus this man demonstrates is mightily impressive. I can’t even cycle that fast on a flat road, let alone a hillside strewn with obstacles.
