Don’t get me wrong, I love snow. But I wouldn’t risk my life to make a snow angel. You’ll see what I mean after viewing this clip.
Let me just say that what’s falling from the sky in this video isn’t exactly white and fluffy.
Picture the biggest size of hail you’ve ever seen. Now multiply it by ten and imagine it in the shape of a dagger. That’s basically what appears to be falling from the sky in this home movie.
A little after the half-way point in this clip, a man dressed in a red coat walks within a few yards of one of these falling icicles. Little did he know that seconds later, a chunk of ice would pierce through the roof right next to him.
The real potential danger of these ice-knives can be seen at the end of the video; where we see that the hail has broken a windshield of a car.
If that’s how this type of hail affects a car, then I’d hate to see its effect on a human skull.
