Long before Hendrix, Clapton, and Santana wowed the world, there was Los Indios Tabajaras.
Legend has it that these Brazilian brothers found a discarded guitar in the jungle and began to play. It’s probably nothing more than a good story, but I like it.
They began playing traditional folk music in the 40s, but decided to take a break from touring to learn classical guitar techniques.
Judging by this video, where the brothers play the ridiculously difficult Flight of the Bumblebee, they were really good students.
Their hand speed amazes me. Something tells me these guys could tend teach the modern guitar virtuosos a thing or two.
