In this video, a demonstration is given of a fairly common situation – baby on floor with power plug near by – that is made a lot safer by the smart house programming.
As parents of young ones know, it is only too easy for baby to get into trouble once he or she starts crawling. There are heaps of hazards all around any house.
Of course, you could always save hundreds – perhaps millions – of dollars by getting the power switches that are fairly standard around Australia that can be turned off and on as well. Easy.
Then again, this is hardly the only awesome feature to the smart house. This is only chapter one…
