If you’re anything like me you’ll be stuck thinking that crocodiles are pretty much unbeatable as predators. It’s hard to imagine any other creature taking one down.
And yet this video shows that very thing happening, with a jaguar stalking and attacking a huge crocodile.
The big cat walks along the riverbank looking for prey, and eventually sets its sights on a croc sunning itself on a sandbank. Staying low to the ground, the jaguar moves in.
I’ve never seen a big cat attack a crocodile before, and I’ve never seen a croc go down so easily. One bite to the back of the neck and it’s all over. Stunning and scary.
