Is there anything the Japanese aren’t good at? Granted, this talent is a bit useless for any common person, but it’s great to have as a secretary.
In 20 seconds flat, this woman stamps 100 checks like a machine.
In western countries stamps are pretty much left up to machines to do, but Japan hand-stamps still exist for a reason. For those that don’t know, almost any document in Japan that involves money is required by law to have a Hanko (an inked stamp). Such a practice is left over from ancient times.
Hat’s off to this talented woman; this is just one of the many jobs I’d never be able to do. Hopefully she won’t end up having carpel tunnel syndrome 5 years from now.
