J.J. Abrams has already begged visitors to the set of the new Star Wars not to leak photos online, and now he’s got people leaking video footage too. He’s not going to be happy.
OK, so if you’ve watched the video by now you’ll know it’s not actually leaked footage from the set of Star Wars VII. It’s actually someone’s attempt at bringing the world of Star Wars into the real world.
We see the classic Star Wars vehicles being walked, driven, and flown around a real airport. Hell, there is even a Death Star in the sky.
Proof, if proof were needed, that CG is now so simple to do that anyone with the right equipment and a lot of time on their hands can pull it off convincingly.
