Microsoft is gearing up to release Windows 10 by the end of this year, and it recently held an event detailing its forthcoming operating system to the press.
However, it wasn’t just Windows 10 on show, and Microsoft also showed off HoloLens, its new and futuristic augmented reality headset that brings holographic images to the real world.
This video shows HoloLens in action, with a series of demonstrations of its capabilities. However, this is still in development, so don’t go expecting a consumer version anytime soon.
HoloLens looks like it could be hugely successful in the future, that is if we ever deem it acceptable to wear these giant headsets in public. Which is unlikely.
