Amazing Space Oddity Cover Music Video | Chris Hadfield On Board The International Space Station

29 sec read

This may just be about the coolest video I have yet seen hit the InterWebs. It’s a great song, it’s being covered by an astronaut in space, and it features visuals that most of us will stare at in open-mouthed wonder. What more could you possibly want?

This video shows Commander Chris Hadfield performing a cover of Space Oddity by David Bowie. So what, right? YouTube is awash with covers, so what makes this one any different?

Hadfield is currently on board the International Space Station orbiting around this blue planet we call home. And that is why this is not only different but actually unique.

It wouldn’t actually matter if Hadfield couldn’t sing or play guitar, but the fact he can do both makes this cover al the more awesome. Excuse me while I watch it again.
