Here’s something you don’t see everyday; “Twiggy” here is a one-of-a-kind water-skiing squirrel. Not only can he hang on, but he can do a few tricks as well.
And here I thought squirrels hated water.
I have yet to see a tame squirrel, yet alone one that would willingly put on a life jacket (he uses it without fear). I guess pet owners in New York are just tougher. Now if only they could do this for their entire rodent population.
Look closely at the end and you can see a couple of stuffed hamsters “driving” the boat. I hope kids aren’t getting any crazy ideas out there.
