A guy from Arizona has built a penny pyramid, which, in case it wasn’t already obvious, is a pyramid made out of pennies.
These things are actually quite common, because people have too much time on their hands. But this particular penny pyramid is a world record holder.
There are over 1 million pennies in this pyramid, and it took the guy three years to construct it. The pyramid has a cash value of over $10,000.
Once the world record has been officated, the guy plans to sell off some of the pennies for a dollar apiece. Because why not make some money out of such a pointless endeavor?!
