After contestant hopeful Jason, from the farm fields of Omaha, forgot the lyrics to his audition song, Keith Whitley’s When You Say Nothing At All, American Idol producer’s decided to pull together a montage of these, eh hem, so-called singers forgetting the words to their try-out song.
Jason somehow managed to squeeze out the lyrics eventually, and maybe it was sympathy or maybe the judges were just ready to move on, but he somehow made it to “Hollywood.” But, I’m doubtful these hopefuls got much further than their forgotten lyrics.
Finally the show has found a tasteful way to make fun of people trying out for the show, who are quite obviously tone def. They probably also should have chosen a song that they could remember the lyrics too. The worst of the worst is what this video is about.
