As if you already weren’t aware, Amy Winehouse died at the age of 27 on Saturday (July 23). She has already been cremated in front of a small group of family and friends.
Which means I guess it’s time for a comedy tribute song. Take it away Kunt and the Gang…
The song title – Amy (It’s A Terrible Shamey) was enough to make me giggle. But then the song actually started and I had a permanent grin on my face.
The lyrics are pretty much genius, especially as they must have been written in such a short space of time. Are they a little cruel? Perhaps, but they could have been a lot worse.
In the end they’re funny but still tasteful. After all, not one of them isn’t based in fact.
