This video mocks this pattern, showing what the makers consider to be an amalgamation of every Facebook video published these days.

We get the speeding up and slowing down of footage, the subtitles explaining what’s going on (complete with words picked out in bold), and the telling of a story.

In this case the story is of a woman who thinks she has lost her cat only to find it sitting on the windowsill in her house. But the beats are the same as countless other Facebook videos.
