Andrew Wishart Impresses on “X Factor Australia” Video | Oldest Contestant Takes On Farnham Classic

We’re at the pointy end of The X Factor Australia competition, with just one elimination remaining before the grand final. These kinds of competitions are usually won by the pretty young things, so it’s surprising and exciting to see Andrew Wishart hanging in there.

He showed us why he’s won the country over this week with a moving performance of John Farnham’s “Burn for You.” In a week that called for the contestants to show us heartbreak, Andrew was the only one who really fulfilled the brief. This was also the first performance that compelled me to pick up my phone and vote.

Hopefully my vote means something and sees Andrew sailing through to the grand final where he belongs.
