She may star in one of the world’s most successful television shows, but Kiwi actress Anna Paquin has always avoided Hollywood fanfare. She’s taken that same low key approach when announcing her sexuality.
Anna stars this PSA for the Give a Damn campaign, an initiative which strives for equality regardless of sexuality. She calmly declares her bisexuality here alongside some of the usual suspects including gay singer Clay Aiken, lesbian comedienne Wanda Sykes, and gay icon Cyndi Lauper.
Sources say they were unaware that Paquin planned to make the announcement on camera. The revelation might raise a few eyebrows, but I find it so refreshing to see a celebrity coming out without the media storm.
