For the first time in her career, Annabelle Orme will represent the United States in synchronized swimming. Since watching the Americans compete in the 2000 games, Annabelle knew that she wanted to compete in the Olympics.
And though she has faced difficulties which included injuries, she’s finally achieving her dream.
She spent much of 2007 recovering from two bulging discs in her back, but the injury only served to help her gain perspective on the Olympic dream.
Though she has put off her studies to train and work towards the Olympics, Annabelle would eventually like to follow her mother’s footsteps and get a degree in museum studies. She hopes to one day become an exhibition designer.
