Apple iPod Touch Nick Haley Commercial Video | Amateur Effort Which Got Made

32 sec read

This is the YouTube video which Leeds Student Nick Haley from England made for the iPod Touch using a piece of music and footage from Apple’s own website.

Nothing special you might think? Well it was good enough to grab the attention of employees at Apple in America, who immediately called for their ad agency to get hold of this guy and make the advert professionally.

And now it is, airing in the USA, where Haley was flown to and treated like a king in the wake of his video being picked up by the company.

Now this sort of thing isn’t going to happen to everyone, but I’ve already noticed a surge of home-made adverts for electronic gadgets in the wake of this success. Are you going to have a go?

You can read the full story of how this simple amateur video came to be made for real over at WebTVWire.
