It’s that time of year again, when ludicrous people play ludicrous jokes on unsuspecting and gullible people. I can’t stand April Fool’s Day but some people adore it, and take the jokes they play a little too far.
Why do I hate it? Not only does it make my job harder (trying to figure out which stories are real and which are fake) but I also seem to be the butt of all the jokes. If anyone plays a prank on me this year, I swear I’ll punch them in the face.
The video sees one man in an office take things way over-the-top. He starts with the usual lame jokes about being crippled and people sniffing seats (?!?) but then moves on to killing dogs… all in the name of a good April Fool’s Day prank.
And then he announces he has Aids. The story moves forward 18 months, the guy walks back in the office and declares he has beaten the disease. April Fool’s? Er no actually, we don’t get the obvious payoff, and the video just ends.
What the hell? At least give us the punchline to the joke you’ve started! This is an epic fail, as is April Fool’s Day itself.
