Australian Politician (Sort of) Talks Gay Marriage on “The Circle” Video | Fiery Exchange About Homosexual Rights

The Circle is usually a place for gentle chats about parenting and celebrities with a few infomercials sandwiched between. But yesterday things got a bit heated on the Australian morning TV show when politician Bob Katter talked, or rather didn’t talk, about gay marriage.

While it might not be a pressing issue in Katter’s outback electorate, as an elected politician he should be able to voice an opinion on the topic one way or the other. However Katter takes the ostrich approach here, and refuses to be drawn into the debate.

It’s all starts feeling a bit like a child’s tantrum. We probably know his stance, but by refusing to articulate it Katter makes the interview seem a lot worse. You say it best when you say nothing at all Bob!
