We’re only a few episodes in to the American Idol auditions and already the process is starting to wear on me. If you can’t bear to sit through all those no-talent fame whores to hear the cream, this is the video for you. If you only see one audition, make it Reed Grimm’s.
Rather than picking one of those big diva ballads or top 20 tunes, Reed scats his way through the theme from Family Matters. Idol tells us it’s all about song choice, and this one is a great way to stand out.
His scatting is sublime, and his pitch so warm. I’m looking forward to seeing more of this cutie in Hollywood!
