Awesome Australian Hip Hop Sleeveface Music Video | “Put It On Wax” by Ozi Batla

Some time ago I introduced you to sleevefacing, a photographic practice where classic vinyl records stand in place of real faces. I love it, and so it seems does Australian hip hopper Ozi Batla.

In Ozi’s new music video for “Put it On Wax” he takes the art of sleeveface to a whole new level. Dozens of old albums, and thus classic singers, make appearances. It’s a great way to boost the clips star power without breaking the budget!

This clip is great fun to watch, and just distracting enough for us to forget that Australian hip hop music isn’t all that good.
