We’ve all seen them, some of us have tried to beat them, and the vast majority of us have walked away disappointed, muttering under our breath that they’re a massive con.
What am I talking about? Why, those claw machines you see at shopping malls and arcades. They’re designed to part kids with their parents’ money, and they’re amazingly successful at doing so.
However, this video shows that every once in a while some plucky kid manages to beat the claw machine, claiming a prize for their sibling.
The joy on these kids’ faces is heartwarming. Until you realize they’ve probably tried to beat the claw machine 253 times previously. Still, one success makes multiple failures worthwhile.
