If done well you cannot beat a novelty cake. So much work is put into all those little touches to get it all looking great and tasting even better.
But does, can, that also go for a cake made into the shape of a toilet bowl?
Cake Boss is a show on TLC which follows Buddy Valastro, the titular hero of the piece, who bakes cakes (as if you hadn’t already guessed as much) out of Carlo’s Bakery in New Jersey.
Buddy, and the show in general, has had to deal with some weird and wonderful requests for novelty cakes, but maybe none more so than this one.
Having said that I’d eat it. It’s cake after all, and cake is delicious, even when it comes in the shape of a toilet bowl.
