I don’t own an iPhone and probably never will. But if I did I would buy a custom case so that I didn’t look like just another Apple fanboy walking down the road.
Shapeways is a 3D printing firm which unveiled its latest product at SXSW last week. This video shows the product in action, creating something real and tangible from nothing more than sound waves.
Vibe uses the SoundCloud API to let you create a custom iPhone case from your favorite noise or section of a song. The second example is used here, with the end result being beautiful in a strange kind of way.
