Take one cat, a video camera, and the hand of some unknown person doing the stroking, add in some dubstep, and you get something that aurally and visually pleasurable. Possibly.
I’m not a big fan of this kind of music normally. It’s OK in small doses, but I much prefer guitar music. However, use dubstep under a wicked video and it comes alive; and you don’t need to be high to appreciate it.
That is exactly what has happened here. This song normally wouldn’t interest me in the slightest. But with a cute cat bouncing his head merrily away in time to the beat it becomes a stroke of genius.
Something keeps drawing me back to this video time and again. Perhaps I just have too much time on my hands. But I can’t help thinking that if dubstep ever becomes mainstream this should be the archetypal music video for the genre.
