I’ve seen some extreme water slides in my time but this one may just be the most extreme. Not because it’s particularly steep or long, but because it’s just so… exposed.
Water slides are massively fun. There is just something so entertaining about sliding down a tube filled with water, even if scrapes, bruises, and friction burns are the order of the day.
However, there is a limit, a point which the fun factor is replaced by a danger factor. This water slide in Mungali Falls, Australia may have just tipped the balance in favor of the latter.
It still looks fun, of course, but sliding down what looks like a channel carved out of pure rock, on a flimsy board, and with a splash in an ice-cold pond at the end your only reward, is only for the hardcore.
