Castellers are brave souls who create human towers, known as castells. Every two years they meet in the Spanish town of Tarragona to show off their skills.
The aim here is to build the tallest, and most complex, human tower. The practice requires unimaginable strength and incredible balance.
And if you’re lucky, or unlucky enough, to be near the top, you’d better have nerves of steel. After all, it’s a very long way down.
Watching this only makes me think those cheerleaders with their human pyramids aren’t trying hard enough. Let’s teach the teens to be castellers and we’ll really have performances!
