Football fans were treated to a new extended trailer for Iron Man 3 during the 2013 Super Bowl. And now, thanks to YouTube, we can all enjoy it.
The first 30 seconds shows Tony Stark — or more accurately Robert Downey Jr. playing Tony Stark — staring straight into the camera. This is the “extended look,” we were expecting.
Thankfully things get better from that point, with some action from the movie itself. We see the villain of Iron Man 3 — The Mandarin, played by Ben Kingsley — several times, as well as an aerial scene that will look great on the big-screen.
Iron Man 3 is set to be released on May 3 in the U.S., with other countries getting it before then. Iron Man 2 was a little messy in places, so let’s hope it’s all come together once more for the third installment.
