We all thought we were done with new Star Wars trailers for a while, but then no one expected regional variations to change the footage being shown in such a monumental fashion.
This is the Japanese version of the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and it shows some key moments for the film no one had previously seen.
We see a lot more of BB-8 for starters, and we now know what he sounds like. There’s also the Apocalypse Now-inspired Tie Fighter shot, and a closer look at Kylo Ren’s lightsaber.
All in all this is a nice final preview of the movie before it’s released in December. There is clearly still a lot to be revealed, but this is enough for now.
