Kong: Skull Island should, on paper at least, be a fantastic movie. It’s King Kong, on an island, ably assisted by a who’s who of Hollywood A-listers.
Unfortunately, the early reviews are suggesting Kong: Skull Island isn’t actually very good. In fact, it may be bad.
Jeremy Jahns isn’t a big fan of the film, finding the whole thing boring and poorly paced. Oh, and while Kong himself is cool, the human characters leave a lot to be desired.
I’ll be honest and admit I’ll still be seeing Kong: Skull Island at the cinema. Purely because it’s a film that demands to be seen on a big screen. But then I like terrible films, so it’s all good.
