Madden 25 marks the 25th anniversary of this epic American football video game. But has EA managed to deliver something which is both nostalgic and cutting edge at the same time?
This video shows the commercial for Madden 25, in which Colin Kaepernick & Russell Wilson are depicted meeting at summer camp and promising to become pro footballers just so that they can beat each other in the game in future.
It’s a great ad, and thankfully Madden 25 is also pretty good. It’s considered by many to be the best football sim for several generations, with great visuals and gameplay combined seamlessly.
The only criticism may be the lack of any special modes to mark the 25th anniversary. As someone who played early iterations on the Megadrive, this looks like a major oversight.
