The Last Of Us looks set to be the most-hyped titles revealed at E3. This is the gameplay trailer so that everyone can see what the fuss is about.
The Last Of Us looks amazing. It’s visually stunning, with sumptuous locales and detailed characters. The gameplay looks difficult but very entertaining. And the whole thing has a very glossy feel to it.
However, I fail to see how this is as innovative as some people are making out. It’s hardly Naughty Dog going in another direction. You can see Uncharted in the game’s DNA.
The Last Of Us is a post-apocalyptic Uncharted with added brutality. That’s clearly a good thing, but it isn’t the big leap forward for video games some people are suggesting it is.
