It’s Nov. 5, Bonfire Night, the day we remember Guy Fawkes’ attempt to blow up the British Houses of Parliament. And if you’re staying in then do yourself a favor and watch V For Vendetta.

V For Vendetta is one of my favorite films of all time, and is much underrated. This video shows the final few scenes, so if you haven’t yet seen the movie don’t click Play.

For those who have, you’ll know that the whole film revolves around a corrupt and despotic government of the future that needs to be taken down a peg or two. And V is just the man to do the job. Or at least inspire others to do it for him.

If you’re going out to a fireworks display and they play this music as accompaniment, then you’ll know where they got they’re inspiration from. You can’t, however, determine from that whether they’re revolutionaries. But they could be.
