Band Of Brothers Intro Video | Wartime Drama Opening Still Gives Me Goosebumps

30 sec read

Band Of Brothers is a 10-part World War II drama series originally aired by HBO in 2001. Even a full decade later it is still unmissable, and evokes emotions like very few drama series can.

This video shows the full, unedited opening, which shows scenes from the series played underneath a truly epic song which sums up the series really well. It’s sad and haunting, yet contains hope.

I’ve watched the whole series through three times, and I’d still watch it again. Thanks to the historical subject matter Band of Brothers will age well too, rather than looking dated like so many of the current series on TV.

Band Of Brothers may be 11 years old now, but it’s still shown regularly on television and is also available through on-demand services. Or you can buy it on DVD or Blu-ray and watch at your own pace.
